A very fun and creative Halloween card from great uncle Ken and great aunt Tina in Santa Cruz.
I ran to Target on Halloween morning looking for one of those orange, plastic jack-o-lantern candy buckets for Peanut and could not find one. Those buckets were everywhere when I was growing up. Necessity is truly the mother of invention because I searched for ideas and made this candy holder with materials found in our house.
After Jerry's fabulous dinner, we headed out for some trick-or-treating in his neighborhood near Mt. Bonnell. It was quite a workout pushing Peanut's stroller up those 55 degree angle hills, but so worth it. Jared teased me about how much fun I was having racing the seven and eight-year-olds from house to house. Ever since I was a kid, Halloween has always been one of my favorite holidays. Taking Peanut out really brought back some fond memories of my days dressing up in my plastic Strawberry Shortcake costume.
We made it onto our friend Jacob's blog. Here's the cutest picture of Peanut.

At least you got to be Strawberry Shortcake. When I was a kid, the store had run out of SS costumes, and I got stuck with being Purple Pieman! Ahh, the memories!
