First Birthday Party

La Hacienda de los Barrios in San Antonio was the perfect setting for Peanut's first birthday party. With delicious Tex-Mex, an amazing playscape, and casual atmosphere, we celebrated Peanut's birthday on a beautiful sunny and cool day with family and a few friends. Here we are trying to get Peanut to blow out the candles. Of course, all he wouldn't do it and just kept his eye on the cupcake.





The weather this entire week was beautiful and reminded me of the day Peanut arrived into this world. Daddy took advantage of the perfect weather and took Peanut on a ride down the slide, only to discover that the playscape was made for kids.





I think Peanut enjoys being the center of attention because he was very well-behaved during the entire party. He was even hamming it up with his guests by smiling, batting his eyelashes, and checking on everyone to make sure they were having a good time. What a good little host.
