It's hard to believe Peanut turns a year-and-a-half today. These past 18 months have been so much fun. We love him more everyday.
These are some of Peanut's many quirks that make us love him so:
* He's taught us how one word can have so many meanings. Such as, "hot". Each meaning is accompanied by a specific action which reveals his true intention. Here are some of the uses:
a) spicy is "hot" with a waving of his hand near his mouth
b) the warm temperature of something eaten or touched comes with lots of vigorous blowing
c) waffle is "hot, hot" (repeated twice)
* Have you heard that crazy boiling kettle whistle thing that Mariah Carey does? Peanut can do it too.
* Peanut does a great job of saying please and cam on [thank you in Vietnamese] unprompted. Please sounds like "peas" and cam on like "ahm-un".
* The boy's still a Sasquatch. On average, Peanut's friends his age are wearing size 6 shoes, while he squeezes into size 8.
* He eats everything in sight, naps twice a day, and sleeps 12 hours a night.
* When Peanut is awake, he's in constant motion. It is rare when he sits down for more than 5 minutes. I wish his future preschool teachers good luck in getting this student to tow the line.

Dumpling was (and still is) a sasquatch. He was in Size 8 around 18 mos as well. The feet slowed down a bit, and he's been in a Size 10 for the last 6 months or so. Mochi on the other hand is barely in a size 6.
It's been so long since we've seen Simon in person - we can't believe how big he is! I guess it's true, we now have toddlers on our hands. Love the pic of him "smelling the roses" ;)
