First Trip to the Dentist

The kids had their first dental exam a couple of weeks ago. My friend came up with a great idea to have the kids come to her office for a tour and dental exam. She showed them all the cool tools dentists and orthodontists use and even had cute names for them like Mister Thirsty for the suction equipment. Peanut couldn't get enough of Mister Thirsty.
Here's Peanut getting his first dental exam. I'm proud to report that his twenty teeth look good and are cavity free. My friend said all of Peanut's baby teeth have come in nicely with good spacing (she's an orthodontist). At about age 5 or 6, we should start seeing some permanent teeth show up and they'll continue coming in until he's about thirteen. He should have about 32 teeth in all.

We didn't want to leave little Rocky out, so she got an exam too. She has 16 teeth and were only missing her primary molars as of December 3rd when we had this exam. Today, all four of her primary molars have broken through. As a thank you for the free exam, Rocky only bit my friend a couple of times.

Peanut playing doctor. I'm sure this won't be the last.Thank you so much K for taking the time to do this for the kids. Both kids had such a good experience, I know it will make a big difference in their oral health.
