I want to give props to two friends who got me blogging, Christina of The Mighty Tran Clan and Mefi of Journey to Africa. Mefi's been bugging me about it for a couple of years. Perhaps she thinks my life is interesting enough to write about or wants me to step into the 21st Century to catch up to my friends who are already blazing the trail for the 22nd.
The ladies warned me it was addictive, but I had no idea. There's no such thing as a solid 8 hours of sleep for me or any new mom for a while. Even if Peanut sleeps soundly most of the night, my mom-dar is always on and I wake up at the sound of a leaf falling on our roof. I'm especially sensitive given the tree incident a couple months ago. Anyhow, I was up until 1:30AM this morning, playing with my blog. I tried out every single template, re-read some of my postings, and started drafting a handful of new ones. Unlike my husband, I don't fall asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow, so I was laying in bed for another 45 minutes thinking of some other postings. Of course, there's no such thing as sleeping in and my day started back up again at 7:00AM with Peanut's first feeding.
Is there a local chapter of Blogaholics Anonymous nearby? I need to start their 12-step program.

Too funny!! I'll join you. It's so addictive. When we're doing things, I think, "Is this something I can blog about?" or "Where's the camera? I need a picture for the blog!"
We need to get on Mefi's case about starting a blog for her growing belly!
Oh hey - I love the new design of your blog. Cool template!
