Ba Ngoai (Kim's mom) was in Austin over the Labor Day weekend and said she could see Peanut's head from her bed and thought he might be sitting up in his crib. Today, I walked into his room while he was playing and witnessed him sitting in his crib, staring at me with his big brown eyes. Tonight, Jared and I will be lowering his mattress.
Even though the sitting was a couple of days past his 7 month birthday, we'll still count it as his birthday milestone. His other milestones are:
- Makes up sentences using his extensive vocabulary of words like dada, baba, agee, agoo, and other garbul-tee-goop.
- Holds his bottle.
- Fearlessly commando crawls throughout the house sweeping up every dust ball in his path. (We are seriously considering wrapping him in Swiffer pads so he could clean our floor while he's at it.)
- Devours sweet potatoes, carrots, and bananas, but isn't too keen on broccoli and peas.
- Outgrew his 6-9 month clothes, graduating to 12 months.
- Curiously grabs and mouths everything within reach; his favorites being daddy's glasses, the Tivo remote control, and daddy's phone.
- Sleeps 10-11 hours at night.
- Loves swimming.

Wow wow wow! Such an active young man! I think the wrapping is a good idea for him to start learning how to cleant he floors!
Can you please ask him to hold off on some of these milestones so that Uncle Adam can see them in person? He sounds terrific - love the swimming lessons!
Oh, I know he is supposed to say Mama and Dada soon...perhaps he can fit in Uncle Adam!
I was talking with a friend trying to find out when his teeth out to be growing in and we had no idea. Good to know he will soon be teething!
Love to all,
Adam
